Korea - where no numbers exsisted - lock or ‘Tongche’ were used to protect or

 guard your precious belongings.

 So, on special occasions, locks were gifted to their close ones. 

 Tongche is a brand that hopes to continue this traditional belief through incorporation of its motif with our design.
